Rome wasn't built in a day, but it was worth the wait!
Fitzwilliam Community Center
Here you can view progress and provide input on the Fitzwilliam Community Center project.

What's Happened so far...
At the 2025 Town Meeting, Fitzwilliam residents voted to raise and appropriate $15,000 to be placed in a Community Center Expendable Trust fund to begin exploring the feasibility and options for a Community Center in Fitzwilliam.

Under the direction of the Board of Selectmen, an initial committee convened to conduct fact-finding and brainstorm parameters for any proposed facility. Some of the items discussed include potential locations, size, specifications, and needs; gathering community input; and our ability to raise additional funds through grants, donations, sponsors, partners, and fundraising.

Minutes of the meetings will begin to be posted on the town website at https://fitzwilliam-nh.gov. If you look under the Residents - Agendas and Minutes - Community Center Committee, you will find what's been posted so far. More will follow this month.
What's next...
The Committee will be posting a survey online by mid-December. This will be important to gather feedback from our community.
We also need more people involved in this unofficial committee. The more the merrier! Current members are:
Tom Rothermel, Josh Joslyn, Susan Massin, Susan Silverman, Summer Pouliot, and Jennifer Cesaitis.

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month at the Town Hall, and we welcome anyone who would like to contribute to these productive sessions.

Also, please help us spread the word and give everyone a chance to ask questions and get answers before our next town meeting in March of 2026. Even if you cannot commit to being part of the group, you are welcome to attend, listen, and share your opinions.
